With the weather forecast predicting further rain during the coming week, Cowdray Park Polo Club has made the decision to play the Semi Finals of the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup on Thursday 12th July at the Ambersham complex.

The Final of the Argentine Ambassadors Cup - Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup on Sunday 15th July will be played as planned on the Lawns 2 ground at Midhurst.

The Argentine Ambassadors Cup is hosted by the Argentine Embassy in London, it attracts many prominent members of the Anglo Argentine business community with visitor attendance now reaching about 2,000 people. The crowd is affluent and covers all age groups.

Cowdray Park is in a glorious location in the South Downs just north of Goodwood - the audience comes from Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire as well as London and the rest of the country and overseas.

The Luxury Shopping Village is now an important part of the event, with around 120 companies offering a wide range of goods and services.

The day features the Veuve Clicquot Gold Cup Quarter Finals. Guests arrive from midmorning to meet friends before lunch, so there is plenty of time left to go shopping throughout the day.
