A plan to construct a new polo museum in Buenos Aires was decided upon recently by Argentina's President Christina Fernandez, Luis E Lalor, President of the Argentine Polo Association, Arturo Puricelli, Argentina's Minister of Defense and Enrique Meyer, the Tourism Director of Argentina.

Many people from all over the world flock to Buenos Aires, Argentina every November/December to witness the sport's legends fight it out at the famous Argentine Open in Palermo. Polo is a great tourist attraction in Argentina and therefore it makes sense to have a polo museum dedicated to its history and players of the sport in its world famous Campo Argentino de Polo in Palermo.
