About San Vicente City
San Vicente's Church
Laguna del Ojo (Lake of the Eye)
San Vicente is a vibrant town located just 52 km south of Buenos Aires, 25 km south of Ezeiza International Airport and just a few minutes from Camino Real Polo Club.
St. Vincent Ferrer (1350 - 1419), a Dominican preacher and philosopher of Valencia, gave his name to the town. San Vicente celebrates the Saint by holding a large feast on the 5th of April each year. Some of the main tourist attractions include the Vincent Ferrer Parish, part of the historic old city, San Vicentino Cultural Museum and the Laguna de San Vicente or “Lake of the Eye,” a mirror of natural water with 180 hectares in size and ideal for outdoor activities.
There are shops, playgrounds and a municipal campsite with grills, bathrooms and a large expanse of green space.
